Welcome to Cold Water Surf Shop's website. We're located in Astoria,  Oregon and we are the city's first and only surf shop and we're now carrying skateboards and protective gear too.
Cold Water Surf is owned and operated by Mark "Finger" Taylor and you can read how he got his nickname on this website, as published in "Surfer Magazine" and in the book "Surfing's Greatest Misadventures-Dropping in on the Unexpected". After all, you can't pick your nicknames, they're assigned to you and some of them stick.
We opened the shop in May of 2006 and our goal is to stock quality surfing and skating merchandise and accessories while maintaining a friendly atmosphere in the shop.
Stop in-say hello-shoot the breeze. Finger can talk about surfing all day!
Gabe and Joe can talk about skating all day too!
